Burnic Sprouse

Director of Operations

With a strong foundation in behavioral health operations and recovery services, Burnic Sprouse has developed a career defined by leadership, strategic oversight, and a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals with substance use disorders. He brings a results-oriented approach grounded in both lived experience and professional training, allowing him to effectively lead within complex and high-acuity treatment environments.

Burnic is a Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and a Certified Substance Abuse Counseling Assistant. He holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Southside Virginia Community College, is a graduate of the Recovery Leadership Academy at Virginia Commonwealth University, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Services at Old Dominion University.

Throughout his career, Burnic has held multiple leadership roles across the behavioral health field, with a focus on admissions, program operations, and team management. He has extensive experience overseeing intake processes, managing crisis situations, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe, structured, and effective care. His work has consistently emphasized operational efficiency, staff accountability, and access to appropriate levels of care.

Burnic’s leadership philosophy centers on integrity, consistency, and accountability. He is committed to fostering environments that support both clinical excellence and long-term recovery, while maintaining a clear focus on patient safety and organizational performance.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Burnic values continued growth through education, physical wellness, and active involvement in the recovery community.
